Hamstring: Standing Stretch
- Begin in a standing position - Place the heel of the involved leg on an elevated surface such as a chair - While maintaining a straight leg on the involved limb, bend forward at the waist until you feel a stretch in your Hamstring muscles - If you are not able to balance during this stretch, be sure to have a stable object such as a table or railing to hold onto while performing this stretch - To feel a greater stretch, raise the height of the involved leg you are stretching
