- Begin seated upright in a chair or on the end of a table - Extend the involved knee forward by contracting the muscles of your thigh - When you’ve reached full extension (straight leg) or the desired end range of motion, slowly lower your knee back into the flexed position - Maintain good posture throughout this exercise
