Hamstring: Supine Towel Stretch
- Begin lying on your back over a flat surface - Hold the ends of a towel with both hands and wrap it around the ball of foot for the involved side - Flex the hip and extend the knee so that your leg is completely straight and pointing in the direction of the ceiling - Apply an over pressure to the ball of the foot by pulling on the towel - A stretch should be felt in the Hamstring (back of thigh) - Hold this position for the amount of time as directed by your health care professional
