Shoulder FLX: AAROM w/ Stick Supine
- Begin lying supine (on back) on a flat surface - Grab the far end of the stick or broom handle with the uninvolved hand - Place the other end of the stick in the palm of your hand to help push the shoulder into flexion - Pinch your shoulder blades together so they move down and inward - Actively flex the involved shoulder to its end range of motion while providing a slight over pressure from the uninvolved arm pushing on the stick - Hold this position for the amount of time your health care professional has assigned
