Shoulder FLX: Pulley PROM
- Hang your pulley system on a door or elevated surface - Begin is a seated position directly under the pulley system - Grab the pulley handles with both hands - Place the hand of the involved shoulder directly above the handle, holding onto the rope with your thumb pointing upwards - With the uninvolved arm, pull downward on the rope to elevate the involved shoulder forward - Maintain full elbow extension and make sure that the involved shoulder is moving in a forward flexed pattern straight ahead - Continue to pull down on the rope until you have reached your end range of motion and achieved a strong stretch in the involved shoulder - Hold this position for 3-5 seconds and repeat
