- Begin in a side lying position with your bottom shoulder abducted to 90 degrees - Flex your bottom elbow to 90 degrees - Using your opposite arm, apply pressure to the involved arm by pushing down on the back side of the hand/wrist, rotating the forearm towards the ground - Continue this motion until you have reached your maximal range of motion - Hold this position for the amount of time your health care professional has assigned
